This policy describes how the Daily Reps Android app (version 1.0.0, package com.dailyreps.timer) handles information.
Summary
Daily Reps is a simple workout interval timer. It does not collect, transmit, share or sell personal information. It works entirely on your device and does not connect to the internet.
What the app does
You choose an exercise (or a custom timer), set how long to work, how long to rest and how many rounds to do, and the app counts the intervals down. It can play a short beep and vibrate when an interval changes, and it keeps the screen on while a timer is running. It does not track workouts, calories, heart rate, weight, location or any health data, and it keeps no workout history.
Information we collect
None. Daily Reps has no accounts or sign-in and contains no advertising, analytics, crash reporting or third-party tracking code. It uses only standard Android system libraries to draw its screens. The app does not ask for Android’s internet permission, so it has no way to send data off your device.
The app does not access your location, contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera, health or fitness data, or any advertising or device identifier.
Information stored on your device
To work as expected, the app saves a small amount of data in its own private storage on your device. This data never leaves your device:
- Timer presets you create (their name, work time, rest time and number of rounds).
- The last timer values you used for each exercise, and which exercise you opened most recently (used by the “Quick start” button).
- Your settings: sound on or off, vibration on or off, and theme (system, dark or light).
- While a workout is running, Android may keep that workout’s timer state in memory so the timer survives screen rotation or the app being briefly closed by the system. Daily Reps keeps no record of finished workouts.
The app turns off Android’s cloud backup and device-to-device transfer for its data, so this information is not copied to your Google account or to a new phone.
Permissions and device features
- Vibrate — used only to make the phone vibrate when a timer interval changes. You can turn this off in Settings.
- Keep screen on — while a timer is running, the app asks Android to keep the screen awake so the countdown stays visible. This needs no permission and stops when you pause or close the timer.
- Sound — short beeps play through your media volume. They can be turned off in Settings.
Sharing and third parties
We do not share information with anyone, because we do not collect any. The app is distributed through Google Play; Google may process information about your Play account and installation under its own privacy policy, and Daily Reps has no access to that information.
Retention and deletion
All data the app stores is on your device and under your control. You can delete an individual preset inside the app. You can erase everything the app has stored by clearing its storage (Android Settings → Apps → Daily Reps → Storage → Clear storage) or by uninstalling the app. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Children
Daily Reps is a general-purpose utility app and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
